Blog Love and Creativity

I have won several blogging awards, and I am so honored. They were given to me by the kind and lovely Seeker, of Searching the Inner Me, and The famous La Belette Rouge. I really don't know what to say, except thank you for making me smile. Somehow I do not feel worthy. I am constantly amazed at the incredible writing and photography I am able to find in the blogosphere. There are so many immensely talented and creative people about the world.

I have to admit to dragging my feet posting, because I am not sure how to post and link to these awards, so I hope I am behaving correctly. Even for a "Cheeky Monkey".

I also have to say that I really love my blogging friends. I mean really really. I just started doing this just to see if I could. I know the quality of my blog is nowhere near on par with most, but that is OK. I have been introduced to some very lovely people. People that I would really enjoy knowing. I am so happy to see one of my bloggy friends having a new post up, or making a comment on my blog. I never knew how much I would become attached to my connections. It is so exciting to me to talk with and learn from people in other countries and cultures; as I want to learn so much more about them.

It satisfies my innate curiosity about the human race to be privy to the glimpses into others daily lives. Although it may seem mundane and uneventful to the authors of these blogs; the daily rhythm is fascinating and lovely to me. Simply because it is something I may not have experienced.

This blog is a work in progress. I really have never done any sort of writing, except for some papers in graduate school, and they were my (really ) first true attempts at writing. I never thought I would be much good at it, and truthfully, it has never been a desire of mine. Although, I am finding out that I think if I keep pursuing it, writing is a great way to really connect the dots and force yourself to synthesize what you really are thinking and feeling.

So without further adieu, let me show you what my blogging buddies have given me:

The first award is the I love your blog award. Wow, what a way to make a girl feel great. I am so happy that someone likes my meandering thoughts. I was awarded this by the lovely Seeker and The Famous La Belette Rouge. What an honor that these fabulous writers deem my blog worthy.

The second award is the Premio Dardos Award. Wow, Seeker thinks I am creative and original. That just makes my heart sing! I was afraid to write a single word, thinking I would come across as simple and juvenile. I cannot tell you how honored and grateful I am. Wow.

The Premio Dadro's award, is given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing.
